It's a string thing #142

Diese Woche ist It's a string thing ein bisschen anders. Quib als String auf ein Tile, egal ob mehrmals oder nur einmal. Echoism ist das zweite Muster. Hmmm, beide Muster sind jeweils für sich wunderschön, elegant und variantenreich. Aber wie jetzt beide zusammen auf ein Tile bekommen? Am Anfang hatte ich überhaupt keine Idee. Aber dann habe ich meine kreativen Muskeln ein bisschen gedehnt und angefangen Quib auf ein hellgraues Tile zu zeichnen und danach ist es wie von selber gegangen.


This week is It's a string thing a little bit different to the other challenges. Quib as string on a tile, no matter wether several times or only once. The second pattern are Echoism. Hmmm, both pattern are wonderful in each case for themselves, elegant and rich in variation. But how now do both agree together on a tile? At the beginning I had no idea.But I have stretch my creative muscles a little bit, start to draw Quib on a light-grey tile and then comes the flow.

Während ich das Erste gezeichnet habe, hatte ich die Idee mit den beiden Mustern ein Zendala zu kreieren. Deshalb gibt es diese Woche zwei Beiträge.


While I have drawn the first, I had the idea to create a Zendala with both patterns. Therefore, are this week two contribution.

Weekly challenges

Stripes (Streifen) tangeln, ist das Thema in dieser Woche bei I am the diva. Diese Variante hatte ich bisher noch nicht ausprobiert, aber es wird nicht das letzte Mal sein. Hier ist mein Beitrag:

Joeys weekly tangle challenges setzt die Reihe mit den römischen Nummern als String fort. Diese Woche die Nr. X. Die Herausforderung war in vier Felder, fünf Muster zu zeichnen.
Joeys weekly tangle challenge continues the row with Roman numbers as a string. This week the number X. The challenges was to draw five pattern in four fields.

Weekly challenges

Joeys challenge diese Woche bestand aus der römischen IX als String, aber die eigentliche Herausforderung  war, auf den dabei entstehenden 7 Flächen, 7 Muster zu verwenden: Demi, Gingham, Betweed, Ragz, Mei, Mooka, Zinger.

Joeys challenge this week consisted of the Roman IX as a string, but the real challenge was to use 7 pattern in the resulting 7 Areas: Demi, Gingham, Betweed, Ragz, Mei, Mooka, Zinger.

String into Spring war das Thema bei der Diva Challenge. Frühling ist für mich grün, Blumen, Leichtigkeit.


String into Spring was the topic at Diva Challenge. Spring for me is green, flowers and lightness.

Ein royales Tangle zum 90. Geburtstag von Queen Elisabeth II war die Aufgabe bei Adele Brunos "It's a string thing". Der String war natürlich die 90 und die Muster Queens Crown, Baton und Ma-XIII. Vielen Dank an Adele für "Tips for Tangling a royal Tangle", es war inspirierend für mich. Und ich habe noch Schmucksteine ergänzt.


A royal tangle for celebrate the 90. birthday of Queen Elisabeth II was the challenge this week by Adele Brunos "It's a string thing". Of course the string was 90 and the pattern Queens Crown, Baton und Ma-XIII. Thank you Adele for "Tips for Tangling a royal Tangle", it was an inspiration to me. And I have added Gems.

Muster Mixer #17 - Floop und Aurabridge

Floop und Aurabridge sind die beiden Muster im April, die im Muster Mixer von Anya Lothrop (CZT) gemixt werden sollten. Floop kenne ich aus dem Buch "Zendalas - Der Einsteigerkurs" von Anya, mir gefällt es auch sehr gut, aber ich habe so meine Probleme beim Zeichnen damit. Nachdem ich hin und her probiert habe erinnerte ich mich daran, dass in den Regeln für den Muster Mixer steht, man könne auch eines von den Mustern als String benutzen und das andere hinzeichnen. Also nahm ich Floop als String.


In April Floop and Aurabridge are the two Patterns  which should be mixed in Muster Mixer of Anya Lothrop (CZT). Floop I know from the book "Zendalas - Der Einsteigerkurs" of Anya, I like it very well, but I have some problems to draw it. After I tried back and forth I remember that is in the rules for the Muster Mixer, you can also use one of the patterns as a string and than the other draw inside. So I took Floop as string.

Weekly challenges

Diese Woche habe ich alle Kacheln schon fertig:

Bei Joeys weekly challenge gab es als String die römische VIII, sowie kurvige und gerade Muster: N'Zeppel, Marnie, Fandango und Crescent Moon.


By Joeys weekly challenge the string was roman number VIII and we could used a mix of straight and curved tangles: N'Zeppel, Marnie, Fandango and Crescent Moon.


Joeys weekly challenge #108

Das Motto der Diva Challenge ist "Globular Grid", ein globales Gitternetz auf einer Renaissance-Zendala-Kachel. Gefüllt mit Mustern nach eigener Wahl. Ich habe N'Zeppel, Paradox, Flukes, Tortuka, Cubine, Puf, Buttercup und Hi-Cis benutzt.


"Globular Grid" on a Renaissance-Zendala-Tile was the motto of the Diva Challenge. Filled with patterns at its own choice. I have used N'Zeppel, Paradox, Flukes, Tortuka, Cubine, Puf, Buttercup and Hi-Cis.




The Diva Challenge #263

It's a string thing beginnt mit einem String aus geraden Linien. Hollibaugh, Pokeleaf und Copoda waren die vorgegebenen Tangles. Copoda war neu für mich, es ist ein sehr variationsreiches Muster und ich hatte eine Menge Spaß damit.


It's a string thing started with a straight lines string, added with Hollibaugh, Pokeleaf and Copoda. Copoda was new to me, it is a tangle with so much variations and I have had a lot of fun with it.

IATS #139

Ein Loop-String und die Muster Tagh, Chillon und das brandneue Muster B-Twixt von Randi Wynne-Parry waren die Vorgabe von Adele in dieser Woche. Hier ist der Link dazu. Ich liebe B-Twixt. Man zeichnet Dreieck für Dreieck und ist überrascht, welches Ergebnis am Ende heraus kommt.




Adele challengend us this week to use a loopy string added with Tagh, Chillon and the brandnew pattern named B-Twixt by Randi Wynne-Parry. Here are the link. I love B-Twixt. Drawing Triangles again and again and is surprised what result comes out at the end.

Joeys Challenge #107 - Roman number VII

Wir sind schon bei der römischen Nummer VII bei Joeys weekly challenge angekommen. Vier Muster - Queens Crown, Gotcha, Zailz und Nipa - wurden von Joey vorgegeben und wir konnten uns aussuchen, welche wir verwenden wollen. Ich habe alle vier genommen. Außer Nipa kannte ich keines. Zails muss ich noch ein bisschen üben. Gezeichnet habe ich mit PITT Artist Pen schwarz und Polycolour Stifte mit Blender.


We arrived already at the Roman number VII in Joey's weekly challenge. Four patterns - Queens Crown, Gotcha, Zailz and Nipa - were prescribed by Joey and we could choose what we want to use. I have used all four. Except Nipa I knew none. Zails I still have to practice a bit. I have drawn with Pitt Artist pen black and Polycolour pencils with Blender.

I am the Diva # 262 - UMT "Fassett" by Lynn Mead

Es ist der erste Montag im Monat und da heißt es immer "UMT (Use My Tangle)". Diesmal "Fassett" von Lynn Mead. Es ist ein sehr schönes und je nach Schattierung variantenreiches Tangle. Ich habe es ergänzt mit einem Zengem, Dragonair, Shnek, Tipple und Fance.


On the first monday of the month  there is always "UMT (Use My Tangle)". This time "Fassett" bei Lynn Mead. It is a very nice and varied, depending on the shading Tangle- I added a Zengem, Dragonair, Shnek, Tipple and Fance.

IATS #138 "Citrus"

CITRUS ist das neue Muster von Adele Bruno und wir durften es diese Woche für die Challenge benutzen. Ich habe ein zitrusfarbiges Zendala daraus gemacht. Vielen Dank für das herrliche neue Muster, Adele.
