Guest posts and a Wedding Theme

Ein weiterer Gastpost von Jessica Davies für die Diva challenge.  Erst dachte ich, ohhhh neeein, Pea-Nuckle! Wie man es zeichnet, habe ich schon gesehen, es gefällt mir auch sehr gut, aber noch nie ausprobiert, weil ich dachte, ist viel zu kompliziert. Einen Tag später sagte ich mir, o.k. ich probiere es und war erstaunt, dass dieses Muster mir keine Schwierigkeiten machte. Vielen Dank, liebe Jessica.

I often see how to draw it and find it beautiful, but never have drawn, because I thought it's too much complicated. One day later I said to me, o.k. I try it and amazingly I had no trouble with it. Die nächste Herausforderung für mich war die Challenge auf Joeys Blog mit Susie als Gastbloggerin, obwohl ich erst dachte, dass es nicht so schwer sein wird. Vielen, vielen Dank, Susie, du hast mich aus meiner Komfortzone gebracht:)))


Susie is the guest blogger this week at Joey's blog. To combine  Asian Fans with the string was a greater challenge for me, as I thought first. Thank you so much, Susie, you take me out of my comfortzone :)))

Adele hat für IAST  #203 und 204 das Thema "Hochzeit" ausgewählt.  Nach altem Brauch für die Braut, sollte sie etwas Neues, etwas Altes, etwas Geborgtes und etwas Blaues am Hochzeitstag haben. Ich musste an unsere Hochzeit denken und fragte mich, wo die 30 Jahre geblieben sind. Vielen Dank, Adele, für diese schöne Challenge.


For IAST #203 und 204 Adele has chosen the theme "Wedding". According to custom for the bride to have something new, something old, something borrowed and something blue on her wedding day. I thought at our wedding day and asked me, where the 30 years are gone. Thank you so much, Adele, for this beautiful challenge.

UMT Orbs-la-dee - Joey's letter-string challenge .... and more

Bei Joey gibt es diese Woche den zweiten Buchstaben-String mit "b". Angefangen hat sie mit B-Twixt. Die Details und die wunderschönen Beiträge der Teilnehmer findet ihr hier.
Ergänzt habe ich einen Zengem, Bambooz und Bales. Dazu noch ein bisschen Farbe mit Rembrandt Polycolours von Lyra.


At Joey's blog there gives this week the second letter-string with "b". She started with B-Twixt. All details and the beautiful entries of the other participants you can find here.
I added a Zengem, Bambooz, Bales and then a little bit colour with Rembrandt Polycolours from Lyra.

Die Diva startet ins neue Jahr mit der UMT-Challenge (Use-My-Tangle), wie jeden ersten Montag im Monat. Dieses Mal: Orbs-la-dee von Anneke van Dam. Beim Zeichnen hatte ich dann die Idee das Retikula R-L 3 aus dem Primer Vol. 1 und Orbs-la-Dee als Fragment zu verwenden. Das hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Ergänzt habe ich Curl (Lu-Marie Lakes), bei dem ich nicht aufhören konnte zu zeichnen ☺☺. Noch ein bisschen Farbe und mit dem Ergebnis bin ich sehr zufrieden. Schaut euch bitte auch die wunderschönen Beiträge der anderen Teilnehmer an.


The Diva starts in the New Year with UMT-Challenge (Use-My-Tangle), like every first monday at the month. This time: Orbs-la-dee by Anneke van Dam. While drawing I have the idea to use the reticula R-L 3 from Primer Vol. 1 and Orbs-la-Dee as fragment. That was fun for me. I added Curl (Lu-Marie Lakes) and I can't stop drawing ☺☺. A little bit of colour and I'm very satisfied with the result. Please have also a look at the beautiful entries of the other participants.

Weekly challenges

Joeys challenge diese Woche bestand aus der römischen IX als String, aber die eigentliche Herausforderung  war, auf den dabei entstehenden 7 Flächen, 7 Muster zu verwenden: Demi, Gingham, Betweed, Ragz, Mei, Mooka, Zinger.

Joeys challenge this week consisted of the Roman IX as a string, but the real challenge was to use 7 pattern in the resulting 7 Areas: Demi, Gingham, Betweed, Ragz, Mei, Mooka, Zinger.

Ein royales Tangle zum 90. Geburtstag von Queen Elisabeth II war die Aufgabe bei Adele Brunos "It's a string thing". Der String war natürlich die 90 und die Muster Queens Crown, Baton und Ma-XIII. Vielen Dank an Adele für "Tips for Tangling a royal Tangle", es war inspirierend für mich. Und ich habe noch Schmucksteine ergänzt.


A royal tangle for celebrate the 90. birthday of Queen Elisabeth II was the challenge this week by Adele Brunos "It's a string thing". Of course the string was 90 and the pattern Queens Crown, Baton und Ma-XIII. Thank you Adele for "Tips for Tangling a royal Tangle", it was an inspiration to me. And I have added Gems.
