Circle string series and Duotangle

This week Joey challengend us to use the tangle OoF (Out of Focus) for the last of her circle string series. OoF was new to me and I had a lot of fun to fill it with other tangles. I'm looking forward to next monday and anxious to see a new idea for the challenge - maybe a new series?

A Duotangle - Meer vs. Auraknot - was the challenge by the Diva. Both pattern aren't new to me, but I have always problems with Auraknot. First I thought "OHH NO!". Than I had the idea for a Zendala and this time I haven't problems while drawing Auraknot - what a suprise to me!

Just for fun...
Last week we should use Knightstar at DC and I found it difficult to draw. But than I saw Stephanie Jennifers video and she explain an easier way. I tried it again, it was really an easier way and know I love this tangle. Thank you Stephanie! You can find the video here.

Adele selected a loopy string and the tangles Leaflet, Cat-Kin, St.John's Cross and Zen Bud for IATS #154. Zen Bud are new to me and first I thought "Oh no, can't draw it, it's to difficult!". But Zentangle is Zentangle and ... step by step it's possible to draw ;))

The Diva challenged us this week with "Moving Tangles". I can't draw
while sitting in a car, I'll be car sick. But due to a chronicle illnes I often  visit a doctor or I have to go to therapy and during sitting in a waiting room I draw in my sketchbook. Also I draw in my garden. Last week I created my own sketchbook.

Give Peace a Chance and Back to the roots

Both, Joey and the Diva (Guest post by Suzanne Fluhr), has posted a peace themed challenge. I draw one tile and used the circle string with the peace sign from Joey and Organic inside. Added with:

I am the Diva #274 - Show your countries colour.
First I coloured an aquarell paper with the colours of Germany: black, red and gold. Added with black Prestwood and some Tipple inside, red Printemps and gold Diva Dance.

My tiles for Joeys circular string challenge #5:

...while drawing the first tile I thought Girdy looks like a helm on a sailing ship - At my second tile I added Diva Dance Foxtrott and a mix between N'Zeppel random and Cockles and Mussels.

Weekly Challenges

 Joeys weekly tangle challenge #118 - Circular string #3 and Maryhill as pattern, but, and this was the real challenge, not in the centre :))   I had used for the centre the (new to me) Ogee-Grid and filled it with Bunzo. Maryhill is around the centre at the second circle and as Background Curtain.

Weekly challenges ...and more

Bei Joey gab es diese Woche den 2. kreisförmigen String mit dem Muster Socc, was neu für mich war und mir richtig gut gefällt.

Joey challengend us this week with the second circular string and Socc. Socc is also new to me and i like it very much.

"Beads of Courage"  ist das Motto diese Woche bei der Diva. Ein großartiges Programm für chronisch kranke Kinder. Alle Details hierzu findet ihr hier.
Zuerst habe ich ein Aquarellpapier mit Farbe versehen und zwar so: Brush Pens in verschiedenen Farben auf eine Blendingpalette, mit etwas Wasser bestäuben und dann das Aquarellpapier darauflegen, anschließend trocknen lassen. Mir hat die Idee so gut gefallen, dass ich gleich zwei Beiträge gemacht habe.

This week "Beads of Courage" are the motto by Diva. It's a gorgeous medicine Programm for children with chronical illness. All details you can find here.
I have coloured an Aquarellpaper: First I applied Brush Pen colour to a Blending Palette and mist lightly with water (spray) and afterwards I placed the paper an to the color and lift. I like this very much and so I drew 2 entries this week.

Joeys weekly chalenge, IATS #148 und Tangle Mosaik Projekt 3

Bei It's a String Thing lädt uns Adele diese Woche ein, Fengle (by Maria Thomas) zu lernen und damit zu spielen. Man konnte sich aussuchen, ob man ein Monotangle erstellt oder noch andere Muster hinzufügt. Alle Details dazu erfahrt ihr hier. Fengle kannte ich schon und finde es richtig schön. Ergänzt habe ich Queens Crown außen herum und Knot Ricks (Variation als Dreieck).


At It's a String Thing invites us Adele this week to learn and play with Fengle (by Maria Thomas) as a Monotangle or added with other Tangles. All details you can find here. Fengle wasn't new to me and I like it. I have added Queens Crown as border around and Knot Ricks (Variation as triangle).

IATS #148

Bei Joey beginnt eine neue Serie mit kreisförmigen Strings - tolle Idee.  Was sie dazu inspiriert hat und die schönen Bilder der anderen Teilnehmer findet ihr hier. Diese Woche also der erste von 10 kreisförmigen Strings mit Flux als Muster. Man konnte andere Muster nach eigener Wahl zunehmen. Ich habe Rick's Flux und Maria's  Flux verwendet. Diesmal habe ich zwei Kacheln gezeichnet, da es so viel Spaß gemacht hat.
 
At Joeys challenges is a new series beginning: Circular Strings - what a great idea. Here inspiration to this new series and the beautiful tiles of the other participants you can find here. This week we have the first of 10 circular strings and Flux as Tangle. We could choose to added other tangles. I have used Rick's Flux and Maria's Flux and had so much fun, so this week I drew 2 Tiles.
