Hier bin ich mal wieder. Ich brauchte eine Pause und habe jetzt mit IAST #258 wieder mit Zentangle angefangen. Hier ist mein Beitrag.

Ich liebe Zentangle, aber mir fehlte mehr Farbe. Dies fand ich auf dem Blog von Clarissa Hagenmeyer, in ihren Online-Malkursen und kleinen Tutorials auf You-Tube. Hier einige Bilder.

I love Zentangle, but I'm missing more colour. This I found on Clarissa Hagenmeyer's blog, her Online-Tutorials and little tutorials on Youtube. Have so much fun to play with watercolours. Here some pictures.

This weeks guestpost by Marguerite Samana on Diva's blog. Marguerite challengend us to use Fragment D1. I tried to draw in three different ways. On of them with Reticula R-L2 which consist of a circle into a rectangle. Thank you Marguerite for this beautiful and for me relaxing challenge. Joey started after her Time-out:

- with a new blog, which have a new format, new name, but the most will be the same as madebyjoey. Congratulation Joey, I like the new format.


- and a beautiful new and interesting challenge over the next 9 weeks. We need 9 tiles (circles, draw in a sketchbook, any size ... all is possible), lay 3 tiles across by 3 down, draw  first a border around the entire square of tiles and then create a large string inside the border crossing every tile. Every week Joey will be choose a tangle, which must be incorporated in the weekly tile.

While drawing I noticed that I didn't took a picture of the prepared tiles, but it wasn't to late :)) - and here is it.

Very Happy 4th. Birthday IAST (It's a string Thing). Thank you so much Adele for making a every week great and interesting challenges.


Adele challenged us to celebrate this  with a string of 4 candles and the tangles Knightsbridge, Trella, Copada and Wud.
This week I saw a new Zentangle technic called TransZending - that means, with my words, to draw and shadow your tile as normally. And now drawing with the micron on a part of the tile for example another tangle or a field. Shadow the outside with graphit and inside with white pastell pencil or Zenstone.
I thought this is wonderful and I'll give it a try - especially for this Birthday-Challenge.

Ein weiterer Gastpost von Jessica Davies für die Diva challenge.  Erst dachte ich, ohhhh neeein, Pea-Nuckle! Wie man es zeichnet, habe ich schon gesehen, es gefällt mir auch sehr gut, aber noch nie ausprobiert, weil ich dachte, ist viel zu kompliziert. Einen Tag später sagte ich mir, o.k. ich probiere es und war erstaunt, dass dieses Muster mir keine Schwierigkeiten machte. Vielen Dank, liebe Jessica.

Ich musste an unsere Hochzeit denken und fragte mich, wo die 30 Jahre geblieben sind. Vielen Dank, Adele, für diese schöne Challenge.

Aquafleur, alphabet challenge .... and some more....

Aquafleur, das diese Woche bei Laura im Mittelpunkt steht, war eines der Muster, die ich vor jetzt 2 Jahre als erstes gelernt habe und länger nicht benutzt hatte.

Aquafleur, the pattern which is this week in the focus of Lauras challenge,  was one of those pattern, which I learned at my beginning with Zentangle, now 2 years ago. I didn't took it for longer time.

Diese Woche hatte ich Zeit zum Zeichnen, aber keine zum Posten, da jetzt endlich Frühling wird und ich viel im Garten gearbeitet habe. Jetzt ist Sonntag und genieße es auf meiner Terrasse zu sitzen - die Sonne scheint, die Vögel zwitschern - Endlich Frühling.


This week I had time to draw, but no time to post, because now it's spring and I worked at my garden. Now it's Sunday and I enjoy to sit on my terrace - the sun is shining, the birds are singing - finally it's springtime.

IAST #182 Valentine's Day and ... Just for Fun

Der Valentinstag ist nahe und der String für IAST #182 ist inspiriert vom "V" in dem Wort "Love". Was für eine bezaubernde Idee. Als dazu passende Muster hat Adele ihre beiden Muster Amore und LG, sowie Opus (Zentangle) ausgesucht. Während des Zeichnens von LG konnte ich fast nicht aufhören, so viel Freude hat es mir gemacht. Ein bisschen rote Farbe und fertig ist das Valentine's-Tile.
Valentine's Day is near by and the string for IAST #182 is inspired by the letter "V" in "Love". What an enchanting idea. Adele has chosen the pattern Amore and LG (both by herself) and Opus, which get well with the string. While drawing LG I can't stop, because had so much fun. A little bit red and ready is the Valentine's-Tile.

Weekly challenges

Joey startet dieses Jahr mit einer neuen Challenge: Einem Buchstaben-String und einem "Alphabet"-Tangle, koloriert mit wasservermalbaren Buntstiften. Diese Woche hat sie als String ein "A" ausgewählt und als Tangle A-dalfa, das schon teils im String eingezeichnet war. Man konnte wählen, ob man ihr Tile fertig zeichnet (Finish-my-Tile) oder ob man selber einen "A"-String aussucht. Alle Details und die wunderbaren Arbeiten der anderen Teilnehmer könnt ihr hier sehen. 
Ich habe mich aus einem Buch für Kalligraphie inspirieren lassen und meinen eigenen "A"-String ausgewählt, den ich mit A-dalfa ausgefüllt habe. Ergänzt habe ich dann noch "A"-Tangles: Artoo (Laura Harms, CZT) und Ansu (Lori Manoogian). Gezeichnet habe ich mit einem Micron 0,1, den farbigen Pitt Artist Pens und den Aquarellbuntstiften von Faber-Castell.

This week she has chosen an "A" as string and the tangle A-dalfa, which was drew partly in the string. We could choose to draw her Tile finish (like finish-my-tile) or to create an own "A"-string and using A-dalfa.

I create my own string, inspired by a calligraphie book, which I filled with A-dalfa. Added "A"-tangles: Artoo (Laura Harms, CZT) and Ansu (Lori Manoogian). Drawing with Micron 0,1, coloured Pitt Artist Pen and watercolour pencils of Faber-Castell.

Adele startet IAST ins Neue Jahr mit einem geschwungenen String, inspiriert durch das Muster MySwing von Simone Menzel, CZT, welches dann auch als Muster angegeben war. Dazu noch Zonked (Barbara Finwall) und Panthe (Nancy Newlin). Alle Muster waren neu für mich, haben mir aber sehr viel Spaß gemacht.


Adele starts in the New Year with a meandering string, inspired by the pattern MySwing by Simone Menzel, CZT, which was also dicided as pattern. With it Zonked (Barbara Finwall) and Panthe (Nancy Newlin). All pattern are new to me, but I had so much fun while drawing.
